Partner Detail Page

Detail Tab:

  • Partner Benefit Eligibility: what is it?

Partner eligibility tells the system what applications that partner is authorized to use. To the system, this impacts what is shown to the partner in terms of functionality, and what emails the partner users may receive.

Per the available emails, you will also need to set up the appropriate roles at the partner contact level.

  • Deleting a partner: what it means and how it might be better to make in-active?

To delete a partner, you would first need to delete or inactivate the locations beneath it, then click on the 'Delete partner' button. Before you take this action, however, you should consider making the partner inactive versus actually deleting it. When something is inactive, you have the option of re-activating it, while with a deleted item, the data associated is gone for good.

Location Tab:

  • Territories: what is it?

FIXME (I'm writing what I think it is and we will need to chisel out a better definition) Territories are assignable designations that are used in the territory based auto lead routing. The designations can be done by Country, State, Zip code, Area Code and County.

  • Deleting a location: what it means and how it might be better to make in-active?

To delete a location, you would click on the 'delete' button. If there are associated contacts, the system will prompt you to either delete or re-assign those contacts to other locations of the partner.

Before you take this action, however, you should consider making the location inactive versus actually deleting it. When something is inactive, you have the option of re-activating it, while with a deleted item, the data associated is gone for good.

Contact Tab:

  • Roles: what are they?

Roles tell the system which users should receive notification emails. As noted on the Partner help page, the 'Benefit Eligibility' tells the system which functionality is available to the partner's users and the roles tell the system which emails should be sent.

Additionally, when setting up a user, please remember to create a login!

  • login: locking an account?

An account may be locked manually by the administrator, or is locked automatically should the user fail to enter in a correct password 3 consecutive times within a 10 minute period. Should the login autolock, the system will reset the ability for the user to login 10 minutes after the last attempt.

Certifications Tab: ideas:

  • Custom Program?
